August 17th - Train Ride Home

We woke up on the train, where we all had two seats to ourselves., was a slow morning, and we all ended up closer together due to expel getting in the train. Then the train arrived in Thompson, where we all split up. Some people got pizza or sandwiches, and others went grocery shopping for snacks. I was one of the grocery shoshoppersand we had a very successful trip. We ended up getting ice cream to eat right on the train as a special treat. Since both the shoppers and pizza people got to the station before the sandwich people, we ended up eating the 4 pints and ice cream sandwiches before the final third of the group arrived. We ended up creating a circle and would take a bite and pass the ice cream along.

Luckily, lots of people got off at Thompson, and we had a whole cart to ourselves, where everyone got a four-seat to themselves. We ate lunch and dinner and had a reflection on the trip afterwards. Then we played salad bowl, where we finally told the rest of the group about the ice cream through cards that said ‘the secret ice cream’ cookie dough ’, and ‘ice cream.’ They were not very happy with us, but it was hilarious. They told us that if they hadtimee they were planning on getting ice cream for themselves as well, but they ran out of time.

By this point, it was pretty late, so some of us went to bed, and others called their friends and family since we were stopped in a smaller time for a scheduled three hours and had service bars. I called my best friend and my ofensa and later hung out with a different person while they called their friends. Around 12, we were all asleep in our 4-seat sleeper, lying away the night.
