August 18th -Winniepeg!

Today we woke up on the train. Everyone partook in their usual morning activities, and then just hung around in the car. We had the entire car to ourselves. This was quite the luxury. Everyone had their own set of four seats and could stretch out as much as they wanted. Some people played cards, read, napped, or just talked with friends. For lunch, we had instant meals. We made them by measuring out hot water and combining it with the packets. Everyone agreed that they tasted alright: enough to fill everybody up. After lunch, some people went back to the car and did whatever, while some people stayed in the dining car and played card games with some other train passengers. Everyone did their thing until 7 o'clock rolled around, when the train arrived in Winnipeg. We all got off,ff and Julie and Mark went to get rental cars to take us all to the airport. While in the train station, we all had to say goodbye to Clementine, a JCR who was traveling with us because she had the same destination.

After that, we packed the minivans, and we're on our way to the Airbnb. The Airbnb was very nice. There was more than enough room for everyone to sleep. There was a basement with two bedrooms and a couch, and upstairs there were 3 bedrooms and 2 couches. The adults ordered Indian food, and around 9, we all ate. The food was delicious, and we all ate considerably more than we probably should have. After that, we all went to the basement and watched Good Will Hunting until around twelve, when we all got ready for bed. There were mixed opinions on the movie, but everyone enjoyed watching it together. -Jude
