August 20th- Home (Bitter-)Sweet Home

We woke up around 8 am so that we could be packed and ready to go. Around 8:30 am, everyone was eating breakfast consisting of waffles, eggs, sausages, and cereal. Around 9 a.m., we were down in the lobby with all of our luggage to repack, so that we have fewer bags to pay for.

We were ready and at a very small airport. A single check-in desk with a small lobby, security, and only one gate. We had a meeting and discussion about who would be the 2nd leader of ISAMR with Ezra. Then voted on a piece of paper on who we thought would be the best fit for the leadership position. Drum roll, please…HAYDEN!

Our plane was small and we probably doubled the number of passengers on the plane. After about a 2-hour plane ride to Denver, we had lunch of smash burgers and Chipotle. Then we boarded our 2nd flight to Dulles, which will take about 4 hours. When we landed, we had to take the shuttle to the maintenance area, where all of our bags were.

Luckily, there were no missing bags, and the School bus was already there. We headed to the Park where the parents were all waiting for us, and they had a tailgate party. We said our goodbyes, and that was the end of our journey. One final farewell- Miya
