Travel Day: To Winnipeg!

Hey guys! Woke up feeling tired this morning at 3:40 am and got to Julie’s around 4:10 am. We ate Julie’s homemade bagels for breakfast and headed to IAD! After about an hour and a half drive, we went to check our bags at the desk, which went really smoothly! 

We got through security super quick and got to our gate. We got breakfast and drinks (Dunkin!), and played Impostor and Mille Bornes, a French game about driving! 

We got on the plane and got ready. Some of us slept, while some of us studied plants a little more. Once we landed, we zipped through customs and immigration and went to get lunch. A lot of us got pizza, and some got smoothies while waiting for the next flight. 

After the second flight, we went to collect our checked bags and suitcases, and split into two groups: Julie, Ziva, Verona, and Carter went shopping for food, and the rest of us took taxis to the Airbnb. We hung out, talked, and unpacked a little bit. Once the shoppers got back, we decided sleeping arrangements and started on dinner.

For dinner we had spaghetti, some chicken, and salad. we all sat around one little table and ate together.

After that, we baked cookies for homemade ice cream sandwiches! Julie and Carla then ran out for a couple of last-minute supplies, and the rest of us stayed home and played some games. We played more games once they got home, and then we went to bed pretty early!
